March 13, 2008

I’m sure you guys would agree! Here’s my 17 month old Maya sportin’ a brand new Book Worm t-shirt, given to us by my friend and fellow book clubber, Tracy. Hmmm, I wonder if I could get one in my size? πŸ™‚

Absolutely adorable! My toddler saw it on the screen and commented, too. Who’s that? she said.

That’s a shirt you can keep and give to her when she’s older and an *official* book worm. πŸ˜€

Jeanne – aren’t kids a hoot! I love the 2 year olds who point at my daughter and say BABY! Too funny!

Trish – what a great idea! My cousin took all of her daughters old t-shirts while growing up and made it into a quilt when she when to college! This t-shirt would be a great addition (if I learn to quilt by then)!

Shannon – thanks for commenting. It is a shirt from baby gap, although I don’t know if it was a recent purchase or from a season or two back. Good luck finding one!

I love your idea of the quilt – I’ll have to borrow that idea (in the event that I learn to quilt).

Miss Maya could look cute in a paper bag. :O)

How cute is she? Love the shirt. Great idea to start a book worm out before she even learns how to read.

Awww…Maya is beautiful. I love the shirt, too – if you ever find them in bigger sizes, let me know!

Thanks for your comments about adoption. We really looked into China, but the country doesn’t allow people with Type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetes to adopt from there. In fact, a lot of countries don’t, so we will be going domestic.
