For Dawn

July 24, 2009

I’m posting this lovely video for Dawn of She is Too Fond of Books. Dawn is walking this weekend in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Three Day Walk and I can’t tell you how much something like this means to everyone who has survived this disease. She has added my mother’s name, as well as mine, on her t-shirt. As a breast cancer survivor, I am so amazed by the wonderful work people do to help find a cure.

May your walk be safe.

Thank you so very much.

Love, Stephanie

Im thinking of you Dawn while you make this trek for a good cause. I am also thinking of all the survivors such as Stephanie who has been such a positive voice for those dealing with cancer.

I watched this twice on my TIVO and bawled both times and through all the judges comments. Mia really got my going for sure. Such a precious dance and testament to how strong cancer survivors really are! This one better get an emmy nomination next year! Go Tyce!

Thanks so much for continuing to stop by my blog and say hi 🙂 I love it!!!

Ack! I’m just getting to this on 7/28, and the video feed isn’t available! When you’re back, tell me what key words to look for, and we’ll find another copy on YouTube!

THANK YOU for all your well wishes and support of my Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, Stephanie! It was an amazing experience; really, impossible to have seen any part of it and not be inspired! I was proud to walk with your mom and you in my heart 🙂

My grandmother had breast cancer, but unfortunately she passed away from it (almost five years ago). Of course, when my mom and I watched this dance together we were both crying! It was an amazing dance
