Little Professor

little professor 018

My two year old Maya just got glasses. Is there anything cuter than a toddler with glasses on? I’m thinking an academic career is ahead of her…hmmm, maybe she’ll become a professor/famous author one day! 🙂

UPDATE: After just six hours with her brand new glasses, Maya broke the arm off of them. Sigh.

    Too, too cute!!

I’m always amazed that small children actually keep the glasses on but my friend who has a toddler said that they are often so glad to be able to see clearly that even at their young age, they seem know a good thing when they see one. LOL.

    She is just too precious!

She’s adorable! My four-year-old just said to me the other day: “kids don’t wear glasses!” I’m going to show her this picture.

Very cute! As a glasses wearer, though, I think I would have found them really annoying when I was that age…

Very sweet. All my kids wear glasses, well – now contacts.

I like the falling snow on your blog! I see the real thing outside my window as I write this.

Hi, I linked here from softdrink’s blog (I too am stealing the “things I’ve done” list!) and just wanted to say that your little Maya is absolutely adorable!! What a little sweetie.

Aw, how cute! And yeah, keeping her from breaking them will be fun. 😉

    She is so cute!

She looks adorable. Don’t they have those things that rubber band them to your head? I think one of the Jon and Kate plus 8 kids had one.

  17. December 17, 2008 1:45 am

    Ooh, she’s adorable!

Oh she’s so adorable! Very intelligent looking. Broken already eh? Yikes. My brother had glasses at 2 and he went through two pairs a year. I can’t imagine trying to get my children to wear them!

Very cute! I’ve had to wear glasses since before I was 2 but I had milk-bottle lenses so my whole face was magnified beyond belief. And I broke my glasses more times than my dad could count!

ahhhh, the joys of a child with glasses. We could send a kid to college for a semester for what we’ve put out in eyewear for Brent since toddlerhood. Painful. Too bad Tupperware doesn’t make glasses.

Maya does look super cute – very studious.

She’s adorable with or without the glasses! Hope the arm can be repaired! 🙂

BTW, you look great, Steph. Hope you’re feeling as well as you look. Hugs to you.

Oh, so cute! Sorry she broke them. You might want to invest in the kind that you can twist and hammer and abuse. My eldest went through about three pair per year — at least half of which he lost because he hated wearing them and kept taking them off, setting them down. Drove me nuts. Youngest is very, very cautious with his glasses and I’ve really appreciated his care.

My sister said that the first person she thought of when seeing the glasses….SARAH PALIN……

Ya know I think she has something.

Your dot is adorable! and your smile is beautiful. 🙂

    Awww!!!

Oh my goodness! I would think glasses on a two-year-old would be challenging indeed! Do they make kid-proof glasses? Seems like someone should jump on that if it’s not already being done.

  28. December 23, 2008 9:16 am

very cute! when i worked at a kids camp one of the kids had glasses that were slightly bendy.

  29. December 24, 2008 3:56 pm

Cracked up over the update on the broken glasses!!!

Hope you are well and peaceful for the holidays, my friend. Thinking of you!

Nope, nothing cuter than a toddler in glasses. At least, I’ve always thought so.

Have you seen Hope Floats? There’s a little girl who wears glasses and it’s so stinkin’ cute.

    *sigh*
